Custom ReportsThe custom report menu allows users to quickly and easily generate reports based off a defined schema. This schema defines a set of fields and field values which determine how a report is generated and what information will be included inside each report. This menu allows users to create, update, view, and delete existing schemas via the schema toolbar as well as the ability to generate, view and delete reports pertaining to a selected schema. When a schema is defined and selected, it will show any reports defined under that schema in a report index table. A “run” option will be visible which will allow the user to run and save a report corresponding to the selected schema. When a report is ran, the server will search the database for any records that match the set of fields and field values under a record type as defined in the selected schema and compile a report of records that match. The report will capture the state of records at the time the report is created and can be referenced at any point from the selected schema’s report index table. When a report is viewed, it will pop up a modal containing a report preview with options to export the report into either a PDF or a spreadsheet file. |
